To meet the registration requirement for training classes, you must attend

• A First Aid/CPR class
• 2 hours of training in recognizing and reporting Child abuse
• Obtain a food handlers card (this requires a class and a test)
• 8 hours of child related classes
• All providers whose renewal applications are received at the Child Care Division office on or after April 1, 2002, will have a Health and Safety Review by a Child Care Division Family Child Care Specialist.
