Chickpea Dip

3 garlic cloves
¼ cup plain low fat yogurt
1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp paprika
1/8 tsp pepper
1- 19 ounce can chick peas (garbanzo beans) drained.

Mince garlic in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Serve with crackers or pita bread.


Tropical Fruit Dip

1- 16 oz carton of cottage cheese
¼ cup lemon yogurt
3-4 Tbs. honey
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2 Tbs. flaked coconut toasted
Assorted fresh fruit

Place cottage cheese and yogurt in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Stir in honey and orange peel. Pour into a serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Sprinkle with coconut. Serve with fruit.
